If you don’t have a PayPal account you will be unable to redeem your earnings at this time.
If you send unsolicited emails, or blanket twitter with @ messages to other users, or do anything else that is spam, your account will be permanently revoked.
We expect you to abide by Kickstarter’s and Indiegogo’s terms of service and community guidelines. If you don’t spam, you should be fine. And of course, don’t do anything illegal or unethical.
After a Kickstarter or Indiegogo project is over, there will be some cards that fail to process. We will not be able to cash back those orders or the orders you have cancelled already.
We check this list of failed pledges against any pledges generated from the cashback network. Any pledges you generated that failed to charge will be reduced to $0. 20 days after the campaign ends, we pay once a month, on the 15th (or closest business day) for any account balances of $15 and over.
If a pledge is made through your unique link, it can take up to half an hour to see it on your dashboard.
If you still can’t see the pledge on your dashboard, it could be for a few different reasons such as:Based on limitations provided by Kickstarter, we are only able to track pledges that occur within the same browser session as the initial click. Different browser and devices define a session differently so the accuracy of all pledges varies depending on the person being referred to the campaign. This limitation is because Kickstarter doesn’t allow campaign owners or third party software to place a tracking pixel or cooking information within the Kickstarter platform.
Google Analytics cannot track the source of conversions when users block cookies. As a result, Google Analytics may report some conversions as direct, rather than attributing them to a referrer.
Currently, it’s not possible to track traffic to your project from the the iOS and Android Kickstarter Mobile app through Google Analytics. Because of the tracking limitations imposed by Kickstarter, almost all mobile conversions are attributed to Kickstarter directly even though they may have come from a variety of different sources.
The backer is using an Ad Blocker that either blocks Google Analytics by default or has been customized to block Google Analytics.
